LEH – NUBRA VALLEY – PANGONG LAKE

DAY 01: ARRIVE AT LEH (BY AIR)
Arrive at Leh airport by morning flight. Meet & assist at airport and get transferred to the hotel.
Check in at the hotel and take a complete rest for acclimatization to the height altitude of Leh (3500 Mtrs).
In the late afternoon drive to the city for an orientation walk in the markets‚ followed by a visit to Shanti Stupa & Leh palace

DAY 02: LEH – SHEY THIKSEY & HEMIS
Post Breakfast we proceed for Indus Valley Monastery tour including Shey, The ancient capital of Ladakh, Thiksey an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village & Hemis Gompa the largest monastic foundation of Drukpa Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism. Most of the other Drukpa monasteries are the branch monasteries of Hemis.

DAY 03: LEH – NUBRA VALLEY
After early breakfast, leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong - la (alt: 18,380 ft. – highest Motorable pass in the world). After descending in the valley, drive on to Hunder and check into fixed camp. Post lunch, you can enjoy the ride of double hump Camel on Hunder sand dune.

DAY 04: NUBRA VALLEY – PANGONG LAKE (VIA SHAYOK RIVER)
After breakfast drive towards Pangong Lake via Shayok Valley. Pangong Lake in the world, shared by two countries India (40%) and China (60%), enjoy the beauty of Lake while appreciating the changing colour of fascinating high Altitude Lake

DAY 05: PANGONG LAKE – LEH
After breakfast leave for walk at Pangong Lake, One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. Later, you will leave Pangong Lake by seeing Chang-la-mountain pass. Return Leh by evening.

DAY 06: LEH – LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
Today after breakfast, we will proceed to visit the local attraction of the Leh like Magnetic Hill, Hall of Fame & Gurudwara Pather Sahib

DAY 07: DEPARTURE FROM LEH
After breakfast, check out from Leh hotel and transfer to Leh airport to board the morning flight to New Delhi or onwards destination
